Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-09-21

VinFast of Tustin ("we", "us" or "our") operates this website. This policy explains what information we collect when you use it, how we use and share that information, and the choices you have, including your rights as a California resident.

Information you give us

You can use this site without telling us who you are. When you send a form, we collect what you enter:

  • Contact and service requests: your name, phone number, email address, the vehicle you own or are interested in, your preferred way to be contacted, and your message.
  • Service appointments booked through the online scheduler: the details you enter there are collected by the scheduling provider on our behalf (see "Third parties" below).
  • Trade-in and sell-your-car requests: your contact details and information about your vehicle, such as year, make, model, mileage and condition.
  • Financing applications: the information a lender needs to consider an application, including your name, date of birth, Social Security number, residence and housing details, employment and income, and the same for a co-applicant if you add one.

Information collected automatically

We measure how the site is used with a first-party analytics script. It records the pages you view, the page that referred you, the size of your screen and browser window, how long a page stays open, page performance metrics and which buttons you use. It assigns a random identifier for the visit that is not stored on your device and does not identify you. This site does not set cookies of its own and does not use advertising trackers.

How we use information

  • To answer your request, schedule your service visit, appraise your vehicle or process your financing application.
  • To contact you about the request you made, by the method you chose.
  • To keep records of service and sales as the law and our manufacturer agreements require.
  • To understand how the site is used and to keep it working well.

How we share information

We share personal information only to do what you asked or as the law requires, with:

  • Our own sales, service and finance teams.
  • Lenders and financial institutions, when you apply for financing.
  • VinFast, for warranty, recall and service records tied to your vehicle.
  • Service providers that operate parts of this site for us: the company that builds and hosts the site (Spif), the email service that delivers your form to our team, the online service scheduler (CDK), and our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare). They may process your information only to provide their service to us.
  • Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How your information travels and where it is kept

Forms are sent over an encrypted connection and delivered straight to our dealership systems. The website itself keeps only a delivery record (which form was sent, for which vehicle, and whether it was delivered), not the contents. Information you give us is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and to meet legal, warranty and record-keeping obligations, then deleted or anonymised.

Third parties on this site

  • Online service scheduling is provided by CDK inside a frame on our site. Information you enter there is governed by CDK's privacy policy as well as ours.
  • The map on our Locations and Directions pages is provided by Google Maps and is subject to Google's privacy policy.
  • Links to VinFast's own website lead to pages governed by VinFast's privacy policy.

Text messages and calls

If you give us your phone number and choose a call or a text message as your preferred contact, you agree that we may call or text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us by phone or email. Consent to texts is not a condition of buying or servicing a vehicle.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it and who we shared it with.
  • Receive a copy of that information.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to exceptions such as records we must keep by law.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information. We do not sell or share it, so there is nothing to opt out of.
  • Not be treated differently for exercising these rights.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will verify that the request comes from you or from an agent you authorised, and respond within the time the law allows. Residents of other states with similar laws may use the same contact details.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page with a new effective date. Material changes to how we use information you have already given us will be communicated to you where the law requires it.
